All returns require a Return Authorization Number (RA). Customers must contact Element Flooring at 1-888-836-4693 to obtain a Return Authorization Number within 30 days from date of purchase.
Items must be returned in new and unused condition. Credit will not be issued for any opened merchandise. 30 days from the date of purchase, the order is considered closed and a return cannot be authorized.
NOTE: We can only accept a return of four cartons or more. Element Flooring cannot authorize a return on less than four cartons of any flooring
How to Return an Item
If you decide to return an item for any reason, we want to hear from you. Simply contact us or call us at 1-888-836-4693. You will be greeted by a friendly and helpful specialist who will guide you through the return process.
All returns require a Return Authorization Number (RA). Customers must contact Element Flooring at 1-888-836-4693 to obtain a Return Authorization Number within 30 days from the date of purchase. 14 days after the date of delivery, the order is considered closed and a return cannot be authorized.
Once you receive your Return Authorization Number, it is very important to clearly reference your RA# on the outside of the shipment. This number is used internally to track your return to ensure your credit is promptly issued.
NOTE: Element Flooring only accepts returns after issuing a return authorization number. All other returns will be refused.
Once your item is returned in its original unopened package, carton or container within approximately 30 days of receipt, you will receive a full refund of your purchase price minus the actual non-promotional shipping costs of the original shipment, any return shipping charges if applicable, and a 20% restock fee.
Should you need to cancel your order after order placement, we will confirm that the order has not shipped out, and issue a refund minus 8% of the total to cover administration and merchant processing fees that have already been incurred. Element Flooring is a small family business that strives to provide an excellent customer service experience.
Element Flooring processes refunds after receiving the return and completing a final inspection. One of our customer service team members will be in touch with you either by phone or email with the details of your refund. Refunds shall be issued in the same form of payment as that used to make your purchase.
All returned items are inspected upon receipt. If the item has been opened or shows signs of soil, damage, or wear you may be subject to a partial refund and/or additional charges.

- Items that have been unboxed, installed, soiled, damaged or used
Installation is considered full acceptance of the material in the condition it was received.
- Molding & Trim (Flush Reducer, Stair Nose, T Mold)
- “Final Sale” or “Clearance” items
- Discounted items and special offerings
- Other selected items, as noted on the product description page
- Special order or custom-made merchandise
- Items past 30 days of purchase
